What

Bfungible is the platform to mint tokens and NFTs on the Liquid Network, developed by Bcademy. With Bfungible, minting is easy and safe: there is no need to interact with complex smart contracts, and there is also the unique possibility to have a “double confirmation” by notarizing the mint on the Bitcoin Blockchain. The minting process is quick and accessible, needing only a few steps to create the token you need.

How

Bfungible supports the Liquid Network, which is a Bitcoin sidechain sharing both value and supply of its native currency with it, since Liquid bitcoins (L-BTC) correspond 1:1 to on-chain bitcoins. The Liquid Network was created and is supported by Blockstream, while the governance is managed by a Federation of members such as Bitfinex, BitMex, Ledger, Bcademy and many other stakeholders. The Liquid Network is the best solution in terms of security, costs and efficiency for the minting of intrinsically centralized assets such as utility tokens, NFTs, stablecoins and security tokens.

Where

All tokens minted using Bfungible can be managed through any wallet supporting the Liquid Network; NFTs can be fully visualized on the Bfungible platform or using Wallby, the first all-in-one wallet and superapp for Bitcoin and its ecosystem, offering complete support for Liquid and tokens minted using Bfungible. At the moment Bfungible can be used through API keys, and the minted tokens will be transferred directly to the receiving address specified during the creation process.

Who

Bfungible has already been used to mint tokens by many international clients such as GIGLIO.COM (Italy’s first luxury ecommerce platform) for an innovative cashback and loyalty token-based program, Tribeke (a global network for consultancy, based in Singapore and in the United States) for the utility token used on its proprietary platform, and Wallby (first all-in-one wallet and superapp for Bitcoin and its ecosystem) to mint and distribute NFTs to its users.
